Latest Updates on DBC Computing Power Galaxy Race

In order to respond to market changes, ensure DBC network security and safeguard the healthy development of DBC computing ecosystem, the DBC Computing Power Galaxy Race will be divided into a public test phase and an official phase:

I. Computing Galaxy Race Public Test

1. The public test of computing power entry is conducted in the testnet;

2. The computing power entry public test is divided into two phases:

Public test 1 Beijing time: 2021.07.18–2021.08.17.

Public test 2 Beijing time: 2021.8.18–2021.9.17.

3. The revenue coming from computing power during the public test period consists of two parts, rental revenue + online rewards, of which online rewards output is about 33.33 million tokens / month; during the test period rental revenue is also issued to the testnet wallet address

4. Requirements for participation in the public test of computing power entry:

a. Participants in public test one need to hold at least 4,000,000 DBCs, and participants in public test two need to hold at least 1,000,000 DBCs; pledged DBCs in supernodes can be counted as the number of holdings;

b. At least 40 GPUs are required for the public test phase 1, and at least 40 GPUs are required for the public test phase 2;

c. According to the number of DBC held in the mainnet we exchange that for testnet DBC for the testnet miner pledge;

d. The DBCs produced are test coins, which can be exchanged for mainnet coins for a 1:1 ratio after the end of the public test phase;

e. 25% of the DBC online reward income obtained will be released on the same day, and the rest will be released in 150 days evenly; rental income will be issued separately;

II. The Computing Power Galaxy Race is officially online

1. Computing power entry is officially online on the mainnet; Computing Power Galaxy Race starts and ends at Beijing time: 2021.09.18–2021.11.17.

2. Computing node revenue is about 66,660,000 DBCs per month, a total of about 133 million DBCs.

3. The DBC team took out an additional 30,000,000 DBCs to reward the top five final ranking computing pools.

4. Pledging and burning are opened simultaneously, and for the rules please refer to the “DBC Computing Power Entry Rules Description”.

III. Connecting the computing power server into the network for rental

From now on, the computing servers that meet the requirements can be rented through the DBC cloud platform, and the rent is based on 3080ti 1000 RMB/GPU/month.

IV. Computing power connecting to the network internal test

From now on, the pools will be officially joined up, and the internal testing will start on June 23rd, 2021 and end on July 16th, 2021.
