I. Product Development Progress
Cloud Platform & Wallet Front-end:
- GPU virtual machine rental page perfection, interface calls;
- My GPU virtual machine page improvement, some interface access;
- Galaxy Race Public Test II page modification, data modification;
- Writing node executable scripts (signature, rental machine, batch rental confirmation machine);
Cloud platform Website backend:
- Wallet private key generation noce and sing signature transaction information sent to the virtual machine request;
- Creation of temporary wallet when renting a machine, temporary wallet signature on-the-chain query and rent an idle machine;
- Order payment generated for user renting GPU virtual machine;
- Creating virtual machines, generating virtual machine IDs and viewing virtual machine details;
Distributed Computing Network:
- Development of verification logic, verifier, hirer, hirer authorized third party holding session_id, and only after the machine rental status and user role are verified to perform task-related operations;
- Develop regular detection of rental expiration, shut down the virtual machine after expiration, and delete the virtual machine after 10 days of retention;
- Restoring the state and iptable before the virtual machine is turned off after the system reboot;
- Shortening the modification of VM ID names to solve the problem of
the limitation of the length of VM names in some systems;
DeepBrain Chain Mainnet:
- Modified the rules for issuing total machine rewards according to the mainnet; fixed the problem that some slash deducted the balance instead of reserved_balance;
- Fixed the problem that the number of replenishment is wrong when the machine replenishes pledge/renewal of lease;
- Modified the penalty and reward execution time when there is a penalty, delaying the execution for 48 hours;
- Added the logic of punishment representation, allowing the punished person to make a representation; added the logic of checking when punishing a machine, and automatically execute the punishment when the punishment reaches the maximum;
II. Marketing Progress
- DeepBrain Chain Galaxy Race pre-mainnet was successfully launched, as of September 30th, Beijing time, the latest chain data are: a total of 15 computing power pools participated, providing 1,050 GPUs, the total computing value reached 232,077.87, these GPUs pledged a total of 107,232,000 DBC, the GPU rental rate reached 96.28%, and the accumulated rental income earned reached 18,628,188 DBC, and the network GPU server assets value is over 40 million RMB. - On September 16th, 2021, Yong He, founder of DeepBrain Chain, was invited to attend the “2021 36 Krypton Cloud Game Summit” and gave the keynote speech “Next Generation Cloud Computing — Distributed Cloud Computing”; He said that distributed high-performance computing with GPU as the core is becoming an indispensable part of the future meta-universe ecosystem closed loop;`
- Community partners actively participated in the election of the DeepBrain Chain Council, and the threshold for Council members to be elected reached more than 6 million DBC, with the most exceeding 15 million DBC, while the first proposal of the community has been voted on and passed by the Council;
- According to the data on blockchain, the number of pledged DBCs on the mainnet has further increased to 473.372 million, for details, see
- Participated in “China International New Energy and Intelligent Network Vehicle Exhibition” and “2021 World Smart Driving Summit” on September 27–29th to expand smart driving related customers;
III. Ecosystem Building
- The second phase of the Galaxy Race public test was successfully completed, and the computing power pre-mainnet was officially launched, and it is expected that the pre-mainnet will become the mainnet after passing the security audit in October;
- The computing power pre-mainnet has upgraded the computing power display results, and the increase in computing power caused by renting will be directly shown;
- Pre-mainnet stage computing power entry will pledge mainnet coins, and the pledged amount has exceeded 100 million at this stage;
- DBC computing power planning has updated the new penalty rules, the actual penalty will be applied only when the device goes offline actually has an impact on the user and is reported by the user, the detailed rules are shown in the rules introduction section of the mainnet interface of Galaxy Race;
- DBC mainnet supernode pledge volume exceeded 400 million, the council mechanism was officially implemented, and the first motion proposed by the council member (Tianyi Yun) has entered the implementation procedure through the voting stage;
- DBC project brand promotion plan will be launched in October, which will jointly promote the project development with the nodes of the computing pool in the ecosystem.
