Dear DeepBrain Chain community members,

Please see below for the latest update on the project.

I. Product Development Progress

Cloud Platform Website Front-end

  • Hid the button for binding e-mail;
  • Fixed the error caused by the number of loops greater than the length of the array when extracting the array data in a loop;
  • Fixed the assignment failure caused by the lack of judgment undefined;
  • Fixed the error of parameter return value exposed after the return value of the background;

Cloud platform backend

  • Fixed enumerated return values;
  • Fixed the parameter error when querying e-mail addresses from DBC backend after canceling orders;
  • Fixed the problem of not getting the correct return value from the front-end to the back-end when individual forwarding parameters are wrong after returning values;

DeepBrain Chain Mainnet

  • Continuing internal testing of the mainnet, will be opening public testing of the mainnet at an appropriate time and conduct super node election;
  • Studied the implementation of off-chain worker;
  • Basically completed off-chain worker implementation of DBC price acquisition module;
  • Testing the way of wasm upgrade;

Other

  • Assisted miners to bring online 120 GPUs
  • Research on kvm virtualization issues for cloud gaming scenarios.

II. Marketing Progress

  • Near 16,600 DBC Network AI users were registered as of 24:00 GMT on February 15th, 2021, Beijing time. The DBC Network continues to grow steadily ;
  • Active participation of community investors in testing the super node functionality of the DBC testnet;
  • The utilization of DBC platform in the cloud gaming scene has been commercialized, and many cloud games will use the GPU computing power provided by the DBC network in the future. We will continue to investigate potential customers in the fields of genetic testing and biopharmaceuticals to continuously expand the application scenarios of the DBC computing network; meanwhile, we will actively look for more compute power suppliers;

III. Ecosystem Building

  • 120 2080ti GPU added to the DBC GPU network;
  • More than 500 GPUs lined up waiting to join the DBC GPU network;
  • Still looking for GPUs to join our network, for a monthly based lease, requirements as follow:
    3.1 GPU hardware: 2080TI/3080/3090/3070
    3.2 RAM: 192g per GPU
    3.3 SMP CPU (above v3, AMD and above 2.5Ghz has priority)
    3.4 System disk 100g (SSD), data disk at least 1T (SSD) or system disk 600g (SSD), data disk 500g (HDD)
    3.5 Network bandwidth: for single machine: 20M or more, or an average of 10M between shared machines
    3.6 Independent and fixed IP
    3.7 Machine has to be placed in a standard data center
