Please see below for the latest update on the project.
I. Product Development Progress
1.Upgraded the mirror for deep learning, deleted lots of useless content, the mirror is now lighter;
2.Added mxnet1.5, mxnet1.6, tensorflow2.1, pytorch1.5, to support an environment for molecular kinetic;
3.Each mirror now has the corresponding version of ipykernel, to make it easier to use for jupyter;
4.Added auto-activation of the virtual environment for the corresponding version to the mirror, easier to use;
5.Unify the jupyter in virtual environment and the python version under terminal access;
6.Mirror Ubuntu version upgraded to 18.04;
7.Gcc upgraded to 7.3.0, cudnn upgraded to 7.6.5;
8.Installed opencv compiler version in mirror, massively improved the opencv user experience;
9.Added docker auto-examination and reboot functions;
10.Added detailed server usage document and help document;
11. Optimized AI computing network’s response mechanism;
12. DBC Mainchain’s testnet has launched, testnet node election and nodes’ block generation functions will be out in June;
13.Developing distributed cloud storage function;
14.Optimized cloud platform response rate.
II. Marketing Progress
1.By midnight, May 31st, Beijing time, the AI users on DBC GPU network has gone over 10,800, and is still growing steadily, in the future we will focus more on customers and institutions with bigger purchase ability; apart from individual AI users, more and more university lab teams are starting to use the DBC GPU network;
2.Continuing to explore the GPU needs in the market, visited several Filecoin mining machine brand companies for conversation on future collaboration;
3.DBC Mainchain’s testnet has launched and is welcoming more community memebers to join the testing.
III. Ecosystem Building
1. More than 20 GPUs added to the DBC GPU network;
2. More than 100GPUs lined up waiting to join the DBC GPU network;
3. WE ARE LOOKING FOR any connections with Filecoin the brand or if you are a miner, as DeepBrain Chain has a GPU compute power solution for Filecoin’s minning;
4. Still looking for GPUs to join our network, mainly 2080Ti GPUs, and the machine(s) has to be hosted in our IDC:
Machine and environment requirement:
- Hardwear:
GPU: 2080Ti with minimal two GPUs in a machine
RAM: at least 200G for each GPU
Hard Disk: each GPU will have at least 1T
- Machine environment:
Internet bandwidth above 50Mbps, stable power grid
