DeepBrain Chain Progress Report #123 11.16–11.30(2022)

I. Product Development Progress

GPU Cloud Platform:

• Optimization of the PC side of the website;
• The official launch of the DBChain single GPU rental page;
• Assisting other cloud platforms to update their support for single GPU rental functions;

Distributed Computing Network:

• Development of the code for the diskless solution is complete and real-world testing is underway;
• Legacy boot solution development and testing completed, already able to install and switch between Windows and Ubuntu systems;
• Some bugs are being solved, such as some occasional blue screen problems of diskless Windows, and driver problems are being solved;
• The codes are being refactored and optimized;

DeepBrain Chain Mainnet:

• Fixed the problem that after the machine is taken offline for modification of hardware information, if the machine’s pledge needed to be replaced, it will cause the machine reward record to be removed on the mainnet;
• Conducting partial code refactoring;
• Install interruptible update module to fix the problem of incorrect StashMachine records when confirming rentals;
• Added interruptible update rental issuance policy;
• Added machine verification and rental testing;

II. Marketing Progress

• The DBC computing power mainnet has been officially launched, and as of November 30th, 2022 Singapore time, the GPUs in the computing power mainnet have reached 2,513, halfway to the goal of 5,000 GPUs. Other latest data on-chain are: there are 19 computing pools participating, total computing power value reached 642,948.37, these GPUs have pledged a total of 258,187,000, GPU rental rate reached 49.42%, and accumulated rental income reached 2,427,827,972 DBC, please refer to the official website for details: https://galaxyrace. deepbrainchain.org/.
• Community Autonomy
  (1) The election of the new Council is completed and the list of Council members is as follows:

III. Cloud Platforms’ Progress

Haibao Cloud Platform

• Single GPU rental proposal vote has been passed, updated the single GPU rental code, the cloud platform single GPU rental function is being launched;
• Debugging for the GPUs launched from the United States and Jinhua computing pools;

IV. Ecosystem Building

• The total number of GPUs in the mainnet is 2,463, with a comprehensive occupancy rate of 45.1%;
• Current computing node number is 25;
• Continuing to push for product application in the Korean, Singaporean and other markets outside of China;
• In order to ensure the rental rate of your DBC computing nodes, please follow the recommended configuration and GPU model of the mainnet when launching online.
