I. Product Development Progress

GPU Cloud Platform:

• Development of a master test monitoring function for the CongTuCloud platform;
• Development and deployment of TeuringCloud, a GPU cloud platform for the Southeast Asian market;
• Optimizing the NODEJS server code to replace some of the JAVA server functions;

Distributed Computing Network:

• Researching how CPUs can be evenly distributed in libvirt and bound to virtual machines;
• Resolved bug: AMD CPU frequency query error;
• Resolved bug: the number of cores in the virtual machine on AMD is incorrect. Two 4-core dual-threaded is shown as one CPU 16-core 16-threaded;
• Studied the problems that need to be solved for single-GPU leasing, consider compatibility, so that both whole machines and single GPU can be leased;
• Added manual designation of the NIC type as “e1000” or “rtl8139”;
• Tested how to improve the runtime of virtual machines and reduce performance loss;
• Tested the API of vcpu in libvirt;

DeepBrain Chain Mainnet:

• Added the implementation of a single GPU allowed to be rented on-chain;
• Optimization of reporting-related functions;
• The use of cache and the addition of parallelization tests for blockchain codes;

II. Marketing Progress

• DBC computing mainnet has been officially launched, as of August 15th, 2022 Singapore time, the latest data on the chain is: there are 19 computing pools participating, providing 2,402 GPUs, the total computing value reached 632,542.02, these GPUs pledged a total of 241,475,000 DBCs, the GPU rental rate reached 67.90%, and the accumulated rental income reached 1,518,126,332 DBCs, please refer to the official website for details: https://galaxyrace.deepbrainchain.org/;
• Haibao Cloud (https://www.haibao.io/) has obtained the first batch of seed users since launching, providing multiple machine trials to overseas users, mainly from the field of computer vision and deep learning; has established user exchange groups at home and abroad; as well as set the next three months for new user registration bonus campaign to welcome new users;

• Continuously improving the information completeness on Xangle platform, synchronized the progress of DBC ecosystem building (including cloud platform development, community autonomy, etc.)

• Business Development in Singapore: DBC has entered into a partnership with Arena Gaming Hotel in Singapore to provide GPU computing resources, and the first Arena Gaming Hotel is scheduled to open in mid-September with 200 computers, and another one will open at the end of the year. Arena plans to open a number of agency chains in Southeast Asia in the next three years, and has already identified sites in Malaysia and Cambodia.

III. Ecosystem Building

• The total number of GPUs in the mainnet is 2,402, with a comprehensive occupancy rate of 67.90%;
• Newly added 287 GPUs, and 1 computing node;
• DBC network-based computing cloud platform promotion continues, we are dedicated to expanding the application of DBC computing power, to ensure the computing network’s GPU rental rate;
• In order to ensure the rental rate of your DBC computing nodes, please follow the recommended configuration and GPU model of the mainnet when launching online.
