DeepBrain Chain Progress Report #114 07.01–07.15(2022)

Please see below for the latest update on the project.

I. Product Development Progress

GPU Cloud Platform:

• Cloud platform reporting function development as well as optimization;
• Cloud platform newly added forgotten password function;
• Cloud platform now support Alipay function testing;
• DBChain interface replacement, remove the Java interface, all replaced with nodejs interface;

Distributed Computing Network:

• Added bare metal related support to dbc;
• Fixed virtual machine expiring but not triggering the timing detection function, at which time the creation of virtual machines will fail due to graphics card occupancy;
• Modified the monitoring service queue full of bugs;
• When configuring multiple chains to access nodes, the one with the largest block height is used first. Because of inconsistent block heights, the query results are not the same, which may lead to unpredictable bugs, such as having rented a GPU, but the rental record with a low block height cannot checked;
• Testing optimization of bare metal related APIs;
• Updated the addresses of seed nodes;
• Modification of bugs in the Windows security group;
• Fixed the problem that all nodes need to be updated after adding new interfaces;

DeepBrain Chain Mainnet:

• Added Github action to achieve automatic compilation and packaging release;
• Optimized the mainnet RPC to achieve serialization of some fields;
• Migration of backup nodes of the mainnet;
• Fixed the problem that the subscan data cannot be queried and some fields are empty when the DBC subscan API queries the transfer;
• Fixed the problem of DBC-Wiki images can not be scaled;

II. Marketing Progress

• DBC computing mainnet has been officially launched, as of July 15th, 2022 Singapore time, the latest data on the chain is: there are 18 computing pools participating, providing 1,820 GPUs, the total computing value reached 442,149.25, these GPUs pledged a total of 183,555,000 DBCs, the GPU rental rate reached 65.03%, and the accumulated rental income reached 1,293,455,000 DBCs, please refer to the official website for details: https://galaxyrace.deepbrainchain.org/；
• Korean cloud platform HYCONS officially online at: https://www.hycons.cloud/home and established a professional IDC room, which is expected to launch 400 3080 GPUs;

• The NFT platform project of GALA, a US metaverse project, is expected to go live next month after a 2-week testing period, along with GPU cloud platform access deployment;
• Cloud platform Haibao Cloud www.haibao.io is now live;

• Updated the project profile, circulation, main chain, social media and other information of DBC on https://www.feixiaohaozh.info/；
• Community self-governance progress

• The DBC Korea Telegram Group was officially established as of July 15, nearly 1,300 members have joined so far.

• The head of the DBC project has arrived in Singapore and will continue to expand the Southeast Asian computing pool and cloud platform business in the coming period;

III. Ecosystem Building

• The total number of GPUs in the mainnet is 1,820, with a comprehensive occupancy rate of 65%;
• 11 new GPUs added, no new computing power nodes added;
• DBC network-based computing cloud platform continues to be promoted, committed to expanding the application scope of DBC computing power and ensuring the stable GPU occupancy rate of computing power network;
• The Council successfully promoted the opening of the USDT trading pair on the Huobi exchange through the funding of voting resolution;
• In order to ensure the rental rate of your DBC computing nodes, please follow the recommended configuration and GPU model of the mainnet when launching online.
